20 Year Anniversary
Established 1989
As you may know, the Charleston chapter formed after Hurricane Hugo as a relief effort for the storm. However, the good work by Charleston Habitat lasted far beyond the storm and we are hoping to raise awareness of Charleston Habitat for Humanity this fall at our annual gala. As people remember the catastrophe that was Hurricane Hugo, it is also important to remember the positive milestones that came out of that horrible storm. Charleston Habitat for Humanity is one of those positive milestones for our city.
