Stacy Hudson was born in Greensboro, North Carolina and lived there most of her life, obtaining her degree in French and Psychology and later a teaching certificate. Having taught both abroad and in the U.S., she moved to Charleston, SC in 2002, where she has taught in Montessori schools since receiving her Montessori teaching certificate.

Stacy has a son and two daughters. Alex is 14 and attends the School of the Arts with a major in Piano. Malika is 6 years old and attends Buist Academy. Amani is 3 and attends the Montessori school where her mother teaches. All three have attended Montessori schools and the youngest two have had her as a teacher in the French Immersion program she piloted at Montessori Day School, where she currently works.

Stacy has been interested in a Habitat Home for several years and is excited to have been selected for a house in downtown Charleston, where she wants to remain. It was very important for the Hudsons to stay downtown so that Malika could continue attending Buist. They will live on North Nassau Street.
