GET INVOLVED
Charleston Habitat for Humanity welcomes individuals and volunteer groups year-round! Regardless of prior experience and skill level, there are always ways to get involved with us. Volunteers can work half days or full days. Just check our volunteer calendar for availability! Volunteers can assist with one of our new affordable home builds, in our ReStore, in our Administrative Office, or with Special Events. ReStore volunteers can expect to organize and price donated items, provide assistance to ReStore customers, and assist in keeping the store clean and tidy. Depending on how far along we are with our home builds, construction site volunteers can expect to help with framing, laying the floor system, roofing, painting, landscaping, etc. We have a variety of opportunities to volunteer in our Administrative Office depending on your interests and skill sets, including: marketing, family services, front desk and clerical duties. Special Events volunteers assist with the planning and implementation of our annual fundraisiers - our spring Builder Bash (Gala & Silent Auction) and fall Oyster Roast.
